Northern Rangsit Golf Club's location in Northern Bangkok places it close to Don Muang International Airport. The course is generally flat, and the layout is a rectangular land plot around water hazards, canals, and paddy fields. Short distances with a range of hazards balance aesthetics and playability.
Course design uses bunkers and water hazards to create various challenges. The absence of forced carries makes the course suited to golfers of all levels. However, good scoring requires shot accuracy and proper club selection into the greens. Wind, especially in the afternoon, can dd to the golf difficulty. There are no hills, trees, nor buildings to block the air.

The eighteenth hole is the Northern Rangsit signature hole in terms of beauty and difficulty. Surrounded by water, the putting green stands out amidst spectacular scenery.
