The West Course at Vattanac Golf Resort is the latest to open in October 2020. The West Course features lush paspalum fairways, greens, and dramatic bunkering designed by Sir Nick Faldo.
Vattanac owners have shown a passion for quality expressed in the year-round top maintenance of the course.
The layout featuring massive green complexes demands accurate shot-making from the better player to shoot par. However, wide fairways and generous layups make Vanttanac West remain playable and enjoyable for high handicappers.
Measuring 7,249 yards from the back tees, the West Course is touted as among the best in Asia. Vannanac West presents plenty of elevation change for a relatively flat property and several holes border Dragon Lake.
Both courses have integrated cultural tributes to Cambodia’s culture, including scale models of famous Khmer historical architectural sites such as Angkor Wat. On the 7th hole, the West Course hosts a statue paying homage to King Jayavarman VII from the Angkor period. In addition to the memorable golf, these features make playing Vattanac an unforgettable experience.
